Whilst we don't take ourselves or our footy too seriously on the field, we do take our socialising very seriously. For 2013, we have four key social events to ensure your stories recounting your on field brilliance reach a broader audience. Our focus is to enjoy the onfield matches and combine it with enjoying a few social activities that include our wives, partners or whatever may take your fancy. DATE NIGHT When: Saturday 13th April 2013 Where: 5 Bar, 560 Beaufort St Mt Lawley Time: 7 til late We've got the week off from Footy, so have the night off from family duties and reward your WAG with the company of your Wembley Vets teammates, dinner and drinks at Five Bar.
POKER NIGHT
When: Friday 26 July 2013 Where: Henderson Park Clubrooms, Cnr Salvado and Jersey St, Jolimont Time: 7.30 til late A staple on the Wembley Vets social calendar. Here's hoping Sarge and the Shark go nowehere near as well this year. Even if you have no idea about poker, you'll still thrash Rookie. This is a must for season 2013.
THE ANNUAL WINDUP EVENING
When: Saturday 21 September 2013 Where: TBA Time: TBA Makes the Brownlow look like the wind-up for the Widgiemooltha Under 12's. With BP and Rookie at the helm, this promises to be a super evening culminating in the announcement of team MVP's and team Muppets alike.
